  1. Gosh,
I started (Euro/ designer) board gaming prior to 2000 when Wizards of The Coast (& their sister store Game Keeper) where closing their brick & mortar shops @ SoCal.
Came back to Manila in late 2005 & was here when d first genuine board game cafe Game Crab (along Katipunan & across Ateneo) started.
The TableTopWars site (before Facebook took over) was about only 2 years old by that time when it was started by Brel (Wilbert Ng).
Yep, I even attended d exclusive gaming meetups @ d condo penthouse where d Humphries family lived & @ d less than a handful of times when Jay Mata opened d worship(?) hall @ their (family?) business called Vibal publishing (along Araneta Avenue).
HobbyMania (along Taft Avenue across from DLSU) already existed around this time.
Hans, d primary owner of Gaming Library was still in high school & Toby’s Game Cafe was established before LUDO came into existence.
The only oldest (Philippine-based) member @ BGG that I found who beat me @ d site was Mark Humphries.
Alredy forgot Adrian Manahan entered d hobby @ 2008 tho.
If Titus Abola got distracted w/ his family & work obligations (among others) during d late 2000s,
I also kinda faded in & out of d local gaming community thru d ages.
I didn’t let my life revolve around board gaming but rather d other way around (w/c made my life more balanced).
